Writing Challenge

This morning while drinking my tea, I was thinking about how I’ve gotten out of the groove of writing every day, and how I miss it. Then I realized it was May 1st, and I concocted a little writing challenge for myself. I’m calling it Write a Day May. I’m committing to sitting down and practicing the discipline of writing once again. I got good at this for a while and have now gotten out of practice a bit. There is no daily topic, no end goal, only the love of writing and remembering that it’s a discipline to write. Will nothing amazing be written? Maybe. But maybe the magic will happen, and I’ll rediscover my love of writing all over again. The worst that happens is come June 1st I have 31 rambling writings. The best that happens is come June 1st I’ve written some gems and also rebuilt the habit of writing every day.

Either way, if you want to follow along, I’ll be posting daily on my blog, and if it’s something I find I really like, I’m sure I’ll be posting it here as well.

You can find me at www.sarahfreeborn.com

And yes, this does count as Day 1!
